Chef Syafiffi's journey in the culinary world started at his own kitchen, where he picked up his cooking skills from his mom while attending school. It was during this time that his passion for a career in the culinary arts was ignited. Over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge in various culinary traditions from the Middle East to Southeast Asia, each with its distinct flavors and characteristics.
 
He firmly believes that food has the power to unite people and change someone's mood from down to up. His most famous creation is the pan-seared kuhlbarra barramundi, accompanied by nam jin sauce, lemongrass emulsion, and pineapple kaffir lime oil. This dish serves as a constant reminder and lesson on how basic ingredients can elevate a meal to a memorable experience. Among the local cuisines he adores, daging salai masak lemak cili api stands out, especially because of his love for spicy food, and it brings back memories of his hometown in Negeri Sembilan.
 
Chef Syafiffi also enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring food markets, and traveling. Additionally, he is an avid badminton player.
